The ruana, the cape, the wrap, the pashmina... all names for a sleeveless garment you can wrap around your body and invoke your inner, elegant, power. The outer shell of the ruana is made of my collage fabric, multi-fibered, beaded, and embroidered, and the inside is a full, lush, lining, sometimes hand dyed silk, sometimes another ready-made fine fabric, carefully chosen for its ability to slide and to complement the outside shell. This garment shape is rectangular, and comes in two sizes: about 51" in width by 37" (74" overall) in length and about 42" in width by 32" (64" overall) in length.
